Who we are

More about the lab

The Artificial Intelligence and Smart Systems Lab (AIS² Lab) is a research group working on artificial intelligence and the smart systems built on it. Its President is Prof. Dato' Dr. Mazliham Mohd Suud, President and Chief Executive Officer of Multimedia University, and it is directed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mansoor Alam, Professor of Computer Science at Riphah International University.

Our vision

To be a leading centre for research in artificial intelligence and smart systems, recognised for rigorous, openly published work that is useful to society and carried forward by the researchers it trains.

Our mission

Our aim is to carry out rigorous, openly published research in artificial intelligence and smart systems, and to train doctoral and postdoctoral researchers to do that work independently.
